[Jan 2020] Day 05: Golden Child 1st Concert Future and Past Day 2 Concert Experience

Today's concert began at 5PM, and lining up began at 3:30PM. I made sure to find my place in line right at 3:30PM to avoid yesterday's stress. I suggest always having your ticket out because everyone asks what number you are to figure out their spot in line.

Once I got in line outside the venue, I saw the merchandise banner. There were small red "SOLD OUT" stickers for the light stick, light stick pouch, strap keyring, and hoodie.

I also snapped another photo of the beautiful banner above the venue.

Soon the line began to move into the venue. Like yesterday, there was a new set of banners to hold up during the ment after the first encore song. This one says 골차의 모든날 그거 나랑해♡.

There are signs in the stairwell indicating where to go based on your section for those who entered late.

Once we were in the basement in our designated lines, the staff told us to now line up in pairs instead of single file. At 4PM the line started to move and we were brought into our section. Because I was third from the left in the front yesterday at 137, I figured 89 could get me a much better spot. But the front row and lots of the center area were already filled, so I settled for the fourth from the right in the front this time.

The setlist is practically the same as yesterday's, except for an added VCR (the comeback teaser!). I'll list out the setlist below, along with any recollections:

Safety Rules - about 2.5 minutes long

Intro VCR - about 1.5 minutes long

담다디 (DamDaDi)

나랑 해 (With Me) - at the intro, the members were yelling, adding to the commotion of the song.

Ment 1 - Each member gave their 1-line introductions. Daeyeol said, "안녕하세요 charisma leader 대열입니다! (Hello I'm charismatic leader Daeyeol!)" Bomin said, "네 안녕하세요...uh...uh...골든차일드 막내 보민...(Yes hello...I'm Golden Child's youngest Bomin...)" and he muffled the end; poor boy, I don't know what happened with his confidence! Joochan mimicked his formal speech from the concert VCR, "안녕하십니까...(Hello)" in a quiet voice, then a fan screamed and Joochan got excited and yelled "어 좋아! 아주 좋아! (It's good! Very good!)" Seungmin introduced himself as "포켓남 승민입니다! (I'm pocketman Seungmin!)" Y did his "와! 이! 와! 이!" chant again and we chanted with him. Y mentioned "Future and Past" and emphasized past, and talked about how on vlive Jibeom thought it was "fast". Jibeom then explained his side of the story. Jangjun then said "Future and Past" slowly. They made Jibeom say that, and he said "Future F~Past". Y started asking a question to Jangjun and slowed down when saying "Future and..." Jangjun explained the meaning o the concert name. Joochan made Jaehyun do aegyo so the audience called "재현아~ (Jaehyun-ah~)" on the count of 3 and he did a variation of his "내 사랑을 받아줘 (Please receive my love)". A member said, "Let's go!" to move on to the next song. Majority of this intro ment was led by Y and Joochan. This ment was over 6 minutes long.

I'm Falling - Jangjun said "골드니스 사랑해 (Goldenness I love you)" instead of his part "Nothing can be instead of you" like in Day 1.

Sea

Ment 2 - They talked about changing the lyrics of "Sea" from "summertime" to "wintertime" and they kept trying to pronounce it well, emphasizing every syllable. This ment contained a lot of reflections, summarizing the members' various past schedules. They mentioned "Golden Day" and Jibeom said how they use a live band. They also mentioned MC Haru. Then they talked about Tag was featured in Woohyun sunbaenim's song and someone sang the line "너에게 Hold on me". The members mentioned that Bomin had a schedule, then Donghyun brought up "A-teen". Bomin said "이따가 싸인 할께요 (I'll give you my autograph later)" to Donghyun and then they hugged. Jangjun talked about how he's been busy with the second season of Star Wars. Then someone said "Let's get it~". The ment was over 6 minutes long.

네가 너무 좋아 (I Love You So) - Jangjun yelled "다 같이 (Everyone together)" right before the second chorus, but no one sang along >.< At the end of the song one member said "선물이에요 (It's a present)".

너라고 (It's U) - There was a strong fanchant until we got to "Choi Bomin"...then it became on and off. Right before the last chorus Jangjun yelled "새 해 복 많이 받아요! (Happy New Year!)"

VCR Conference Part 1

Let Me - Right before Y's opening line, a member shouted "Let's go!" The fanchants were on-and-off but strong right after Seungmin's lines. The members shouted "Gol.Den.Ness!" instead of "Let me know" right before the second chorus. After the bridge and Daeyeol's "Let me know~" the audio stopped, and Donghyun spoke this time, "여러분 제가 무슨 말 할...하나 둘 셋 (Everyone I have something to say...1 2 3)". Goldenness shouted "Golden Child!" and Golden Child shouted back "사랑해!" Jibeom then continued back into the chorus and the song started up again.

Ment 3 - The members talked about how during "Let Me" yesterday Goldenness said "사랑해" and this time the members said it. Jibeom started talking about yesterday's concert then the members made faking crying sounds. Bomin brought up Music Bank, then the members cheered and shouted "박수! 뮤. 직. 뱅. 크. (Clap! Mu. Sic. Ban. K.)" x4. Bomin did his MC intro "네 안녕하세요 뽀뽀뽀 보민입니다 (Yes hello I'm Bo Bo Bo Bomin)." Another member (Joochan?) mimicked MC Yeeun's intro "예예예 예인입니다 (I'm Ye Ye Ye Yeeun)" and then apologized immediately to Yeeun.Bomin talked about how during the Music Bank interview they made a promise, then Daeyeol repeated that promise of how Bomin and Seungmin will reveal their abs. The members checked Seungmin's abs first, then Bomin said "약속이니까...(because it's a promise...)". Seungmin lifted up his shirt and showed the left and center audience, then the audience cheered. Then the audience chanted "Lee Jangjun!" Jangjun was so confident and the screams were even more high pitch. He showed his abs for a long time and body rolled a few times, clearly showing his abs. Then a member said "Let's get it!" to wrap up the ment. This ment lasted over 12 minutes.

Would U Be My

Short Ment + 들어봐 줄래 (Listen) - They said that Goldenness' voice yesterday was really beautiful. Jangjun said so we should all sing together, then a member said "Okay, let's go!" Golden Child did the first round of "la la la", then Goldenness did a round, then we all did the third round together. Then Golden Child sang the song, and at the end of the song, Golden Child did one round, Goldenness did two rounds, then we all did another round together. It felt really magical singing together!

Ment 4 - The members kept saying "Wow" exaggeratedly. Jangjun mentioned the Woollim audition number to Goldenness in response to our singing. They talked about their songs and Daeyeol said "넌 모를 거야?" Then he sang that line twice. Donghyun answered his favorite song and the members questioned Donghyun that it's not "Thank You". The members asked for Goldenness' favorite songs. The members kept pretending our answers were "문제아", "No Matter What", and "Never". This ment was along 3 minutes long.

Lady - The fanchant was strong except for "Bong Jaehyun" and "Choi Bomin", and it was especially loud at the end.

너만 보인다 (I See You) - Strong chant at the beginning, but not really during the chorus, which is unfortunate because I really wanted to redeem myself for yesterday's fanchant failure.

Crush

Ment 5 - They split the audience into the left team and right team. Jangjun asked the second floor to scream too. The left side (when facing the stage) went first. Then JAngjun who's on the right team told us to do his usual cheer like "엌! (eokk!)" We did this twice, but it wasn't really loud. Then Jangjun said there's a guest and that person shouted "eokk" alone (someone who does taekwondo?) and Jangjun was excited of the strong outcome and said "할 수 있지! (See, it's possible!)" We tried it one more time.

Then the members were talking about doing a sexy pose as punishment for the losing team. The order was Joochan, Jaehyun, Y, Jibeom, Jangjun, and they tried to do a sexy pose in sequence. Joochan went first and then Jaehyun paused so they had to redo it. Joochan and Jaehyun each did a body roll, Y did an elaborate body roll, Jibeom accentuated his thighs with his hands, and Jangjun put the scarf part of his sweater in his mouth. Then they made Y spell "최성윤 (Choi Sungyoon)" with his butt sexily. Jangjun sat at the edge of the stage to see the full view of Y. Then the members said "Let's go~". This ment lasted about 10.5 minutes.

Genie -

The fanchant was strong during the first verse. Jangjun did his fancy kick during the dance break.

VCR Conference Part 2

문제아 (A Song For Me / Joochan Solo) -

놓지 않기로 해 (Go Together / Jaehyun & Jibeom & Bomin Unit) -

From my angle, I could see Jaehyun at center stage and Jibeom on the staircase on the left, and occasionally Bomin's hand moving from behind that portable wall on the right.

Later on Jibeom and Bomin also joined Jaehyun on the stage ground.

둘만의 천국 (Our Heaven / Daeyeol & Seungmin & Donghyun Unit) -

The stage started out very calm with Donghyun standing there until Daeyeol sang his part of the first verse, then Donghyun kept bobbing his head. Then during the chorus all three suddenly broke out into a choreographed dance with their mic stands!

During the second verse it was calm again, with Daeyeol posing with his mic stand during Donghyun's part. During Daeyeol's part of the second verse, Donghyun kept snapping his fingers and jamming out and even playing air guitar.

During Seungmin's part of the second verse, Daeyeol and Donghyun were jamming out until suddenly they broke out into the dance again during the chorus.

After the bridge, Donghyun grabbed his mic off the stand and started jumping around on the stage, hyping up the crowd! The other members did as well and then they broke out into dance again. All three looked like they were having so much fun on stage. And look how high Donghyun can jump!

At the end the three posed together cutely.

Fantasia (Y Solo) -

Y started off the first verse walking down the center until he met the mic stand. Just standing with the mic stand he had so much stage presence and engaged so much with the audience.

Then during the second chorus he took the mic off the stand and came to the right side of the stage! And then he went to the left side.

Then during the bridge, he went back to the center and suddenly a platform elevated him!

No Matter What (Jangjun & Tag ft. Joochan) - The portable walls were back, and Tag suddenly appeared between two of them on the right side of the stage to begin their stage. Jangjun was on the left, and then they went into the center and started jamming away. Then the walls were in the center and separated as Joochan came out for his featuring. After the chorus Joochan left the stage on the right in a suave manner. Joochan came back from the right side and sang the chorus on the right, and oh wow he was just so cool! His stage presence matched the rapper line so well and the three of them together really owned the stage. Joochan stayed on stage for the remainder of the song. During the bridge when Jangjun would usually yell "Oh yeah!" the audience did instead. Then there was a dance break and Tag did the splits on the right! Then Joochan in center had his own solo dance too! And then Joochan threw his blazer over his shoulders as Jangjun and Tag went to either side of him and wow I just cannot describe how in love with this stage I am. Then at the end Jangjun did his "Say 'No Matter What'", "Say 'Lee Jangjun'", "Say 'Son Youngtaek'", "Say 'Hong Joochan'", "Say 'Golden Child'", "소리칠려".

Ment 6 -

All members except for the "No Matter What" crew were on stage for this ment. Y imitated the "Our Heaven" stage - the choreo with the finger pointing and jumping and sang one line from the song. Donghyun showed the part of the choreo with the standing mic. They talked about Jibeom as the main vocal for "Go Together". I think this was the part where Jaehyun mentioned the anecdote of how his mom cried the first time listening to Jibeom's vocals in that song. Y asked the audience which unit song was our favorite. Jaehyun kept saying "놓지 않기로 해?" The "No Matter What" crew came on stage and answered "No Matter What!" They talked about the "No Matter What" stage. Jibeom imitated Jangjun's rap from that song but it sounded more like "wrwrwrwr highlight" x2. Joochan talked about the freestyle in the song, and how he used Jibeom's dancing for it. Y mentioned how "No Matter What" is the rap line together with a vocal then replied to a fan "Never?" Out of nowhere Jibeom imitated Jangjun's line again, then Jangjun belted out Jibeom's famous "이 자리에~" Jibeom did his "ooh whoa oh oh~" and Jangjun copied and sang "이 자리에" again.

They asked Jaehyun what was his favorite unit and he said "Donghyunie" then he said "dance battle 하고 싶어요 (I want to do a dance battle)" then Donghyun kept waving his hands and saying "아니 (no)". The band started playing music and the members started to bounce to the beat. They formed 2 lines and started chanting "Go Donghyun!" They flipped something to determine who would go first, then chanted "Go Jaehyun!" Jaehyun tried to break dance but lost his momentum and had to start over. Honestly it was hard to see because the formed the lines perpendicular to the edge of the stage, blocking the view...then they chanted "Go Donghyun!" and Donghyun confidently went to the front of the stage and danced. After, Donghyun talked about practicing freestyle. The members then said "Let's go" and "가시죠". This ment was about 10 minutes 45 seconds long.

느껴져 (Lately) -

When Y came from the back and effortlessly helted out his high notes throughout the last chorus, wow that was just so impressive hearing it live, especially when it wasn't really noticeable in the studio version.

도망가지마 (Don't Run Away) -

Ment 7 -

They talked about the last 2 songs they just performed. Jangjun sang and danced his opening line of "Don't Run Away" (above). Seungmin danced to the chorus part (I think it was the chorus part) and Joochan copied. Jibeom kept doing arm and head movements. Joochan talked about having a live band which makes it good quality. Y said that they have a lot of songs, and asked which ones do we want to see. Y then replied, "Eh? 넌 모를 거야?" Other members replied with "She's My Girl" then Y sang that line twice. Y asked in Korean, "What else? What other songs do you want to see?" They started singing "너". Y started singing the chorus of "If" with the members dancing along, then Goldenness joined in on singing along and we finished the chorus together. It felt so magical singing together. Jibeom kept dancing in place to "If" after everyone stopped singing. Joochan then said that there's the last song now, and asked if we're sad. Jangjun started thanking those who made the concert possible and Y elaborated. Jangjun thanked Goldenness and the members clapped, and Jaehyun gave two thumbs up to the crowd. They mentioned Sunggyu, Lovelyz, Rocket Punch, and Woollim trainees.

Jangjun then introduced the band. First was the drummer, and Jangjun danced along with so much energy; he was also so energetic when announcing the band members' names. The other Golden Child members sat down while clapping for the last band member so we could see them. Joochan said that the live band did a really good job. Jangjun talked about during the chorus of "Genie", the guitarist was bobbing his head; Jangjun first did his part of the choreography then mimicked the guitarist bobbing his head enthusiastically. Joochan continued by thanking the stylists. Daeyeol emphasized his clothes then pretended to touch up Y's makeup (above). Joochan thanked Goldenness. This ment was about 11.5 minutes long.

Wannabe -

Like Day 1, this song's fanchant was the strongest, though it was lacking during the name chant and chorus.

The curtain came down during the ending pose. Fans started using the beaming light feature of their runebongs, including myself. After I aimed mine on stage, someone else started putting theirs on top of mine.

Encore: VCR -

The same VCR as Day 1 came on, showing the members again in their glittery suits in that concrete jungle. Then the audience started shouting "encore" again.

Suddenly a new teaser started playing. This was new content from yesterday's concert...I couldn't believe my eyes. It was to announce Golden Child's comeback with repackage "Without You" for January 29. I got goosebumps seeing an announcement live for the first time! Usually Woollim trolls with their concert VCRs, but with a date of the 29th, in just 10 days, I knew it was really happening.

Encore: 나침반 (Compass) -

The boys wore the same hoodies as yesterday, except the bottom was trimmed and the kangaroo pocket was removed. They also wore outfits underneath, with lots of paisely sticking out (now we know this was foreshadowing for "Without You"). As "Compass" began, the fans shouted the unofficial fanchant.

Encore: Ment 8 -

Everyone held up their banners for the encore project, and the members read the message. The members were saying how the time went by so fast, then Joochan said "fast fast" then Jangjun said "Future and Fast". Joochan was saying how it's time for the ending ment for their last concert, but then brought up the teaser video that just played.

The members were standing in the same order as yesterday's ending ment, but this time their speeches began from right to left. The sad background music began. Jaehyun spoke first, and humbly said "감사합니다 (thank you)" and bowed. He listed the staff members then started to get teary. Jangjun rubbed Jaehyun's back to comfort him (above). Jaehyun successfully finished his speech but stayed in the 90 degree position so Joochan brought him tissues. Jangjun spoke second, and his speech was very smooth with no tears. Joochan spoke third, and he paused and became teary. Daeyeol was fourth, and it took him a long time to start speaking, he was already so teary-eyed. After he finished, he turned around to wipe his tears. Jangjun and Jaehyun followed to comfort him, then Y comforted Daeyeol. As Bomin spoke, Daeyeol went back to his spot but still covered his eyes with his towel. Surprisingly Bomin didn't tear up at all - such character development! Jibeom spoke next, and he wasn't emotional like he was on Day 1. Donghyun was seventh, and he was also rather calm.

Y was next. He told a recollection of how he was recently praised by Woollim for the first time, then started choking up. He had to put the mic away from his mouth and clear his throat.

Y mentioned Joochan, and Joochan kept doing a 90 degree bow to hide his teary face (above). Jangjun got tissues and tried to hand it to Joochan who was coverhing his eyes with his hand, then Jangjun slipped his arm between Joochan's arm and chest so Joochan could see it, then Jangjun rubbed Joochan's back. Y's ending ment alone was about 8.5 minutes long.

Tag spoke ninth. He spoke so well but then half way through he started tearing up. Tag talked about Y, then they hugged.

He, Y, and Joochan were getting emotional as Tag thanked Goldenness. Tag's ending ment was about 7.5 minutes.

Seungmin spoke last. He was calm until he started talking about the members, then paused. After his ending ment, he asked us to hold up the slogans again, then Joochan asked us to take a group picture (the ones posted on Twitter). Then Daeyeol closed the ment by stating it's really the last song now. The entire ending ment was about 50 minutes long.

Encore: Thank You + 모든 날 (All Day) -

The boys sang so well despite being emotional. Y kept blotting his eyes.

As Seungmin sang his lines in "Thank You", Tag kept rubbing Seungmin's upper back and nodding along with him (above). After Seungmin sang another line right before they transitioned to "All Day", he had to regain his composure by blotting his eyes and turning his back from the audience instead of singing along with the other members for the "All Day" chorus. He also couldn't sing his first line from "All Day", poor boy...

As Jibeom sang his last line, the lights went out and then suddenly they came back on with confetti falling down and the band playing a continuation of the song. Y had to turn around again.

The members started to wave at everyone in the audience while Y continued to cover his eyes. The members then went to the right to bow. Honestly Jaehyun, he went to behind the wall so all the members were far away from us whereas Seungmin stood in front of the wall and the members were so close to us yesterday.

As the members waved at fans and started heading over to the left side, Y stood in the back then Joochan and him hugged. After their hug, Y gained strength and started waving at fans and bowing. The members then bowed on the left side.

The members slowly bad their way to the center, and a few of the members (I think Tag and then Daeyeol) initiated a group hug.

They stayed in the group hug for awhile; it was just so touching.

After they broke apart, then Bomin hugged Donghyun (above); Bomin was so smiley and comforting. Then Jangjun and (I think) Y hugged, then Daeyeol and Jaehyun. Then Daeyeol reached out and hugged a crying Joochan. Overall a lot of hugs and tears and emotions. The members then stood in the center and bowed all together one last time.

The curtain came down as the members were doing their final bow. The members then continued to wave and most members knelt down so they could continue to see us until the curtain fully came down. Then the credits VCR came on with the "Spring Again" instrumental track.

Random Anecdotes:

• Tag waved a lot of fans and made eye contact with me and waved at me!
• Jaehyun also made eye contact with me! I think Bomin did too.
• Jangjun always mouthed the lyrics to the other members' parts in their group songs; he always got so into each performance!
• While people were recording throughout the concert, I really didn't get the courage to until halfway through, when even more fans took out their phones to film the members doing sexy poses, even with two security guards directly in front of us. But after that, I decided to film the rest of the concert.
• The two guards were very attentive in regards to water - they often held out the big bottle of water and paper cups to pour for fans. Fans could also call for water and they'd give it quickly. At one point I couldn't stop coughing, but because I was filming, I felt too guilty to ask for water and yet they didn't really pay any attention to me either.
• The concert ended at about 8:53PM - that's almost 4 hours long!

It makes me sad to think this is the last time I've seen Golden Child and not knowing when I'll see them again. But with their comeback and constant schedules, it definitely helps with post concert depression. I'm so grateful to have been a part of Golden Child's first concert and can't wait to continue seeing them grow!

[Jan 2020] Day 05: Woollim Building and Golden Child 1st Concert Future and Past Day 2 Venue Festivities

Sunday, January 19th, 2020 kicks off the second and final day of Golden Child's first solo concert Future And Past! I blogged about ticketing here and my venue festivities from Day 1 here. To start off today, I met my two new Goldenness friends for another visit to the Woollim Building. Since I forgot to explore the area and try to find the new Woollim Building the first time, I figured I could do that this time.

This time we had a perfect view of NIT Coffee with no cars parked out front.

Outside of the Woollim Building was a wreath for X1. Also I've been using the light stick pouch all day, and placing the drawstring pouch inside to use later, both of which have been so handy.

The three of us then had lunch to fuel ourselves for the long day ahead of us ( which I'm really glad I got to eat again because I miss Dongwoo's restaurant so much). Afterwards we headed back to Blue Square, the concert venue. We collected our hard copy tickets at the box office which opened at 3PM. Here is my ticket which I got during pre-sale: B 89, or B(omin) 89; it was perfect!

We went around the venue again collecting freebies. Some fanpages gave out the same items as the previous day, while others had a different design today. Also I found the box of Jaehyun cup sleeves, and picked up a few more^^ Some Goldenness were so friendly and even walked up to other fans passing out goodies. Here is my collection from Day 2. The banner at the bottom is the one that was passed out in the concert.

I had wanted to buy season's greetings from fansites as well (especially since Woollim didn't sell any for 2020...) but I only saw one Daeyeol site selling one, and by the time I went back, it was gone. And while planning my trip, I had no intention of buying slogans as I don't really hang them up. But somehow I couldn't resist buying these five slogan sets! I shocked myself even more by buying member sets that aren't my biases (my three biases are Bomin, Jibeom, and Jaehyun); I just bought the slogans I thought were most pretty and completely forgot they come with additional goodies; I should've bought more!

Afterwards my newly found Goldenness friends and I had a fried chicken dinner in spirit of Joochan. It was so fun to meet international Goldenness, reminisce over the concert, and talk about our original and current biases. I never realized part of the fun of these events is meeting other fans and fangirling together!

[Jan 2020] Day 04: Golden Child 1st Concert Future and Past Day 1 Concert Experience

January 18th, 2020 marks Golden Child's first solo concert! I blogged about my venue festivities here and now I will word vomit my concert experience here! The concert began at 6PM KST, and lining up began at 4:30PM. Lining up is important because all first floor seats are standing, where you enter  into your section based on the number you purchased contingent that you line up in time. I went to the entrance of Blue Square I Market Hall at around 4:40PM and freaked out that no one was in sight. I walked into the building where a worker checked my ticket, then I grabbed the banner on the table.

There was a large stack of banners made jointly by several fansites, and on the back of the banner were instructions in Korean, English, and Japanese and staff emphasized not posting about the banner project on SNS until after the concert to surprise the boys.

At about 4:45PM I followed the signs for my section and luckily everyone was still in the basement waiting to enter their respective sections. I found my spot in line and at about 5PM they let us in. I quickly found that most people were congregating around the center, so I went straight for the far left side and scored the second row. A few minutes later the girls to the left of me on the barricade scooted even closer to the wall, so I secured front row, third from the end! While the angle is extreme, it's worth it being in the front.

Both days I did notice the front barricade isn't a straight, parallel line to the stage; it's more of an upside down V shape, where the center is closer to the stage while the ends are further. This makes it more difficult being at the end, because when I turn to face the center, it's almost like I'm in the second row now despite being up against the barricade.

Golden Child's music videos were being projected on an a white curtain and at about 5:30PM they played "Golden Movie". Throughout this time one staff member had a loud speaker and continually emphasized that recording was not allowed. Afterwards was the "Wannabe" music video and then it was practically show time! Next an audio recording of the members stating the concert safety rules along with slides appeared, with the instrumental of "What Happened" as the background music. And then the intro VCR played like the one Woollim previously teased played - the concert was really starting!

I'll list out the setlist along with my random recollections:

담다디 (DamDaDi) - The infamous "Hello!" played just as "HELLO!" projected onto the curtain for a second, then the curtain falls to reveal Golden Child in the new baseball jerseys from the VCR! It really felt like they brought us back to their debut.

나랑 해 (With Me) - I'm so happy to witness Golden Child performing B-sides! The choreography for this is just so adorable. I wonder how it would've been like with OT11...

Ment 1 - This intro ment lasted about 6 minutes, with mostly Daeyeol leading it. Jangjun hyped up the crowd by shouting, "I say 'Jang' you say 'Jun'! Jang! (Audience: "Jun!") Jang! (Audience: "Jun!")". Aah I miss Hoya...Next each member gave a one-liner to introduce themsevers. Bomin said "안녕하세요 그냥 최보민입니다 (Hello I'm just Choi Bomin)." Jaehyun introduced himself with "안녕하세요 봉블리 재현입니다 (Hello I'm Bongvely Jaehyun)." Y got the audience going by saying "Wa" and us saying "E" three times, cheering on his stage name. The members made Jibeom do aegyo but he failed, so they made him do it again. The members were trying to perfectly say "future and past" without an accent. They made Jibeom say it, and he said it really quickly. Daeyeol's voice was really soothing, he should record bedtime stories for Goldenness to listen to before falling asleep.

I'm Falling - This is only the second time Golden Child officially performed this, after the Inauguration Ceremony! Jangjun said "골드니스 사랑해 (Goldenness I love you)" instead of his part "Nothing can be instead of you."

Sea - They changed the lyrics from "summertime" to "wintertime". Also it looked like the members were tapping Jibeom's thighs during his bridge part, like usual!

Ment 2 - This lasted for about 4.5 minutes with Jangjun leading it. Lack of Korean so I can't recall much...

네가 너무 좋아 (I Love You So) - This was one of my favorite stages; it was so cute! There were short bookshelves and classroom chairs that the boys were leaning and sitting on. They looked like they were having so much fun playing with each other throughout the song. During Jangjun's rap, he rested on top of Jaehyun's legs and Jaehyun gave a cute annoyed look. Then during Tag's "You must be drained cuz you be glowin'", he poked Bomin's cheek. During Seungmin's part of the bridge the members started to get up and go close to the edge of the stage, then during the third chorus they had a basket of red hot packs with all members' printed autographs that they threw into the audience. At the end of the song, Jangjun said, "비싼 아니 싸우지 마요 (It's not expensive, don't fight over it)." This was definitely Golden Child's fanservice song!

너라고 (It's U) - I was a bit disappointed with the fanchant...it was loud at first but kind of died down. I really wanted to be a part of the loud fanchants I'd see on music shows. During the second verse with Joochan and Jaehyun they failed to create a proper heart together then Jaehyun made a cute gesture and lightly shoved Joochan.

VCR Conference Part 1 - This VCR was a two-part series with the members in business casual and had a conference setting and Joochan acting as the host. Honestly I had no idea what was going on, but they showed some quick clips like Golden Child's "Be Mine" cover during their guerrilla concert, and Joochan entering Bong Bong House for the first time. The VCR ended with the members singing the chorus of "Let Me". This VCR was about 7 minutes long.

Let Me - Golden Child changed into their purple outfits from the concert photoshoot. This was the transition from Golden Child's past as high school students. Again the fanchant was lacking, except for the lines we'd say after Seungmin's parts. After Jangjun and Tag's joint rap, the audio stopped as the members sang "Let me know~". I thought it was a glitch, but then the members stopped dancing and Y said, "여러분...무슨 말해요 (Everyone...what do you want to say)?" Goldenness replied, "사랑해 (I love you)!". Y replied, "Eh?" so Goldenness repeated "사랑해!" Then Y replied, "사랑해? 그러면 저희가...하나 둘 셋 (if so then we...1 2 3)!" Then Golden Child shouted, "골든자일드 (Golden Child)!" and Goldenness followed with "사랑해!" Then Jibeom went right back into the chorus by singing "내게 말해줘" and then the audio came back on. It was so beautiful hearing him sing live without any music!

Ment 3 - The members talked about the 사랑해 part in "Let Me". Joochan did a sexy version of the "DamDaDi" choreography, adding in a body roll, while the members kept singing the song. They talked about their new hair colors, like Daeyeol's snow ash and Y's deep blue. They brought up the promise made on Music Bank for Bomin and Seungmin to show their stomachs at the concert. Bomin eventually lifted up his sweater to show the crowd and afterwards crouched on the floor in embarrassment. Then Jangjun ended the ment by saying "Let's! Go~". This ment was about 12 minutes long.

Would U Be My - The setup for this stage was really pretty, where they created a triangle with various steps...it's hard to explain, but it was a really pretty way to set up for this ballad.

Short Ment + 들어봐 줄래 (Listen) - The members started off with singing the "La la la..." part of "Listen" then asked Goldenness to sing along to this part.

Ment 4 - The members were talking about Golden Child's songs (their favorite songs?). Then they said "컴퍼스 (literally 'Compass')". They asked what is Goldenness' favorite song. They mentioned MC Tag. At the end of the ment they said "Let's go". This ment was about 4 minutes long.

Lady - The fanchant was pretty strong except for when we were supposed to shout "Bong Jaehyun" and "Choi Bomin" in the chorus >.< I already have a love-hate relationship (hate because of the disregard of Jaehyun and Bomin, so that hurt a bit. But I'm happy to see "Lady" live with the updated choreography where Bomin and Jaehyun get to be in the front.

너만 보인다 (I See You) - There was a strong fanchant at the beginning but I failed...I knew I had to practice this for tomorrow. Unfortunately the fanchant died down during the chorus. There were no blindfolds. They put both songs where Jaehyun has no lines back-to-back.

Crush

Ment 5 - Golden Child split up into 2 teams where the losing team has to do aegyo as punishment. The winning team is determined by which side of the audience screamed louder. Jaehyun did aegyo by kissing each finger then saying "짠", but had to repeat twice. Then Jibeom mimicked Jaehyun's aegyo and "짠". Goldenness and the members chanted "Kim Jibeom" so Jibeom mimicked Jaehyun again. Then we kept shouting "Hong Joochan" and he kept saying "Hold on, hold on!" in Korean. After a couple of minutes, Joochan cutely said "뚜딴이 귀여워 (Dduddanie is cute)." Surprised, Joochan asked, "안 귀여웠어? 귀여운데 (It wasn't cute? But it was cute...)." Bomin had to do aegyo next, so he asked how Joochan did his. Joochan replied, "주찬이 귀여워. 귀여워 (Joochan is cute. Cute)." Bomin said "보민이 귀여워 (Bomin is cute)" while continually poking his cheeks. Then a member said "Let's go!" to end the ment. This ment was about 12 minutes long.

Genie - It seems like people gave up on the fanchant...during the part where Y and Joochan slide on the floor, Y bumped Joochan so hard that Joochan fell forward against his legs.

VCR Conference Part 2 - This is the second and final part of the previous VCR. They had Jibeom spell "future" and he quickly said "f-u-t-u-r-e". They showed the clip of Golden Movie where the teacher is scolding Jangjun. This VCR was about 7 minutes long.

문제아 (A Song For Me / Joochan Solo) - This began with a solo VCR of Joochan like from the concert teaser. Joochan sat on a simple chair towards the back of the stage, elevated, and the theme was like he's in a quaint, empty house at night. Even though the set and actions were really simple, Joochan really shone as a ballad singer! I always find Joochan most impressive when he sings ballads; his voice just suits them so well.

놓지 않기로 해 (Go Together / Jaehyun & Jibeom & Bomin Unit) - This was another simple stage to really allow us to focus on the boys' vocals. Jibeom stood on a staircase on the left while Bomin stood on one on the right, but there were those walls right in front of them so standing on the far left, I couldn't see Jibeom at all. Jaehyun stood at center stage.

둘만의 천국 (Our Heaven / Daeyeol & Seungmin & Donghyun Unit) - The boys wore simple, casual clothes and stood with mic stands in front of those portable walls (thank goodness this time the walls weren't blocking any members!). Seungmin was on the left, Daeyeol center, and Donghyun right. They started off standing with their mic stands, and then in the middle of the song, they suddenly broke into a choreographed dance with their mic stands! Suddenly the energy really increased for both the boys and the audience; the members were really into it, having lots of fun on stage, and jumping around. Daeyeol was especially into it and he showed such good stage presence. I thought of this song as a pop ballad, but this unit really showed it can be much more energetic and poppy.

Fantasia (Y Solo) - Y started off standing still and singing the first verse, but then he cutely ran to each side to sing; he looked so happy and energetic! He really had such great stage presence, he owned the stage, and he just looked so natural and comfortable up there. Towards the end of the song he went onto a platform that elevated him, and he really did look like an angel.

No Matter What (Jangjun & Tag ft. Joochan) - There was all red lighting, and the members looked so sleek in black suits. All 3 members got the audience going and really owned the stage. Joochan kept taking his jacket off his shoulders and going hard, really trying hard (and succeeding!) at that sexy concept he's always wanted. Towards the end Jangjun shouted, "Say 'No Matter What'!" "Say 'Lee Jangjun'!" "Say 'Son Youngtaek'!" "Say 'Hong Joochan'!" "Say 'Golden Child'!" And the audience always shouted it back. Then Jangjun yelled, "소리질러 (Make some noise)!" The order of the solo and unit stages was spot on, increasing the energy with each stage.

Ment 6 - Most members came back onto the stage and talked with the audience while the remaining members were changing. They came out in their glittery black suits like in the concert teaser and photoshoot. The members were imitating the previous stage by chanting "Hong Joochan! Lee Jangjun! Son Youngtaek! No Matter What!" The members asked fans how the stages were. Then one member imitated the "Our Heaven" stage by shouting "Jump! Jump! Jump!" Then the members imitated Jibeom's line "자리에~" I think they asked the audience which solo/unit stage was best, and they heard "Fantasia" so Y said "그러세요." Donghyun sang "놓지 않기로 해." Another member jokingly sang "이 자리에~" A few minutes later the remaining members came onto the stage. This ment was about 6 minutes long.

느껴져 (Lately) - I can't believe I'm actually seeing the first official stage of this!

도망가지마 (Don't Run Away) - The moving walls were back, but it was really intricately used this time! The choreography began with like 3 members dancing while the others were hidden behind the walls, then they kept adding more and more members into the choreography. It was really cool to see!

Ment 7 - This is the "ending" ment before the encore stage. Joochan sang his line "날 구해줘" from Wannabe a few times and started talking about it. I think they were mentioning how they sang all the songs from Re-boot then they mentioned "She's My Girl" so Y sang that line twice (memory is getting hazy at this part...). Jangjun said it's the last song coming up. They mentioned Woollim family. Jangjun introduced each band member, and they started playing their instruments to "Billie Jean" as they were introduced; Jangjun was using his announcer voice like he did on Lovelyz' "Cameo" performance from Queendom. They thanked all the staff members and stylists. At the end the members said in unison, "지금까지 골든차일드 있습니다 감사합니다 (It's been Golden Child, thank you)!" This ment was under 10 minutes long.

Wannabe - The stage began with Bomin having a solo dance on the right, along with a remix intro of "Wannabe". Then Donghyun had a solo dance on the left, then 7 members danced together in the center, then Jaehyun came from the back center and walked to the front center to be in his place for the beginning of the choreography. I later found out from my friend that Jaehyun actually had a solo dance in the back center, I just couldn't see it from my angle...The fanchants were definitely the loudest throughout the song (except for the name chant)...it seems like most fans present were new fans? Once the song ended, the curtain was back on and fans shouted "encore" consistently for under 4 minutes until a VCR appeared.

Encore: VCR - A 30 second long VCR played continuing the opening concert VCR.

Encore: 나침반 (Compass) -  The boys came back out wearing the concert hoodies and performed "Compass". Surprisingly the crowd was shouting the unofficial fanchant for this.

Encore: Ment 8 - A fan yelled "사랑해 동현 (I love you Donghyun)!" and Donghyun yelled back "어 사랑해 (oh I love you)!" Later on Jangjun said "Thank you!" The band started playing sad background music and the members groaned and said "아 멘트인데 (ah it's ment time)". The boys gave their individual ending ments from left to right, starting with Seungmin. While Seungmin was speaking, Tag caringly wiped sweat off of Seungmin's face. As he put the napkin into his pocket, he made a jokingly disgusted face before putting it into his pocket. Tag spoke next and while thanking the stylists, said "헤어 앤 메이크업 예쁘네 (Our hair and makeup are pretty)" and fans agreed then Tag replied "그죠 (right)?!" Then he said "Yes!" Y spoke third, and he started having a conversation with the audience after hearing our reaction. He mentioned something about 'Fantasia'. Donghyun went next and mentioned Minchan, and as the audience awed at the mention of his name, Donghyun was surprised and asked, "민찬 아세요 (You know Minchan)?!" Jibeom went next and in the middle of his speech, he kept pausing and tearing up. The mood of the entire venue just got so sad, and I definitely teared up with him. Donghyun asked, "왜 그래 (Why are you like that)?" It was so hard for Jibeom to continue but he finished. Bomin went next and somehow he showed no signs of being overemotional, no tear in sight. Seventh was Daeyeol, and he kept pausing to try and hold back tears. Fans yelled "사랑해" in support. Joochan spoke next, but he had a long pause before starting and was sniffling and tearing up. A fan yelled "울지마 (Don't cry)!" He was able to complete his speech in one go though. It just felt so emotional that Jibeom and Joochan were the two that really cried during the concert, since they especially had openly difficult times throughout 2019 that affected the team. As much I had jokingly wanted to see the members cry, I didn't want it to be like this; I just hope they know that they're all doing so well and are Goldenness' pride and joy. Jangjun spoke ninth, and he mentioned all members like Bomin who has lots of schedules, leader Daeyeol, mom Y, Bongvely Jaehyun, and then he started going onto another topic when the audience was like "Donghyunnie..." and then Jangjun was like "미안하다 (Sorry)" for forgetting to mention Donghyun. Jaehyun was the last member to speak, and he mentioned (I think the lyrics of?) his unit song "놓지 않기로 해". Daeyeol wrapped up the ending ment. Thoughout the ending ments, Y kept walking over to give those who were crying napkins, and he'd place them into their hoodie pocket. This encore ment lasted 28 minutes long.

Encore: Thank You + 모든 날 (All Day) -

Despite crying just a few minutes earlier, Jibeom did so well singing the opening lines of "Thank You". The boys all look so earnest, and the way Tag has his arm around Seungmin and how they're looking over all the other members, it's so touching.

After Seungmin's part of the bridge, it transitioned seamlessly into the chorus of "All Day"! After Y sang his line, he kept looking up like he was trying to hold back tears, then he put his hood up.

After Jibeom's ending line, the music and lights went out for a few seconds, then they went back on, with the instrumental continuing as the members began waving their goodbyes. They made sure to look at each section of the venue while waving.

Honestly being at the concert felt so surreal. But watching my fancam now, it's so real. I miss them so much. The members went to the right of the stage and bowed. They kept waving at fans as they slowly made their way to bow on the left side.

Suddenly Tag tripped but help onto Seungmin to save himself! He made a surprised face but luckily he's okay.

The members then bowed on the left side. Oh wow they are so close. And again they took their time waving until finally bowing again at center stage.

The the curtain lowered and the boys kneeled down to see Goldenness as long as they could.

Lastly there was an ending VCR about 4 minutes long showing behind the scenes of the concert preparation and concert credits, all along with the instrumental of "Spring Again".

After the final VCR, this was projected on the screen. I took one last shot before leaving the venue.

Random Anecdotes:

• I forgot if it was the first or second day, but Bomin kept sitting or crouching on the floor during ments; he seemed really tired
• Again I forgot if it was the first or second day, but one of the hot packs bounced off the first few rows of fans and to the feet of the guard. He picked it up and bowed while looking down to hand the hot pack, not wanting to pick favorites.
• Being on the far left and with the concert lighting, I had no idea Jangjun had those orange dyed streaks in his hair! I thought it was all black and was shocked when I saw photos on Twitter later on. The same goes for Y, I didn't know how blue his hair was.
• Jangjun especially and Tag kept making eye contact with fans (including me!)
• During ments the two staff on my side kept offering fans water
• Fans in the front row were filming with their phones while others in the second row used cameras; surprisingly the staff up front were really chill about it. I didn't get the courage until after the encore ment to film
• The entire concert was about 3 hours 20 minutes long (from safety rules audio clip to end of ending VCR)

Even two weeks later, the feels are still as strong. I'm so grateful to have seen Golden Child's first concert, to be a part of their history, and to add this as one of my best experiences as a Goldenness. I'm so proud of each member for getting this far and for being able to share their passion for performing with us. Thank you Golcha!
